Art. 4 Social Media

(1) Incorporation of YouTube videos

  1. We have incorporated YouTube videos in our online provision, which are stored on www.YouTube.com and which can be played directly from our website. These are all incorporated in the “enhanced data protection mode”, that is, no data concerning you as the user are transferred to YouTube unless you play the videos. The data referred to in b) are only transferred to YouTube if you click on the videos. We have no control over this data transfer.
  2. When you visit the website, YouTube obtains the information that you have viewed the corresponding sub-page on our website. The data referred to in Art. 3 of this Declaration are also transmitted. This takes place regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account, to which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data are assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish the data to be assigned to your profile on YouTube, you must log out of Google / YouTube before activating the button. YouTube stores data as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based configuration of its website. This kind of analysis is performed (even for users who are not logged in), in particular, in order to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about activities on our website. You have the right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube in order to exercise this right.
  3. You will find further information on the purpose and extent of the data collection and its processing by YouTube in the Data Protection Declaration. There, you will also find further information concerning your rights and preference options for the protection of your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has accepted the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

(2) Incorporation of Google Maps

  1. We use the services Google Maps on this website. Thanks to this, we can display interactive maps directly on the website and can enable you to use the map function conveniently.
  2. When you visit the website, Google obtains the information that you have viewed the corresponding sub-page on our website. The data referred to in Art. 3 of this Declaration are also transmitted. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account, to which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data are assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish the data to be assigned to your profile on Google, you must log out before viewing a site with a map link. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based configuration of its website. This kind of analysis is performed (even for users who are not logged in), in particular, in order to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google in order to exercise this right.
  3. You will be given further information on the purpose and extent of the data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider in the provider’s Data Protection Declaration. There, you will also find further information concerning your rights in this regard and preference options for the protection of your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has accepted the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Facebook page data policy

In order to communicate with the users of Facebook and to advertise our services and/or products there, we maintain one or more Facebook pages. The following data policy applies to such Facebook page(s). You can reach Facebook at the address: Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA.

When you call up a Facebook page, your personal data is also processed outside of the European Economic Area. This may possibly make it difficult to enforce user rights. Facebook has voluntarily subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield and committed to uphold certain user rights: www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Your data that is collected when you call up a Facebook page is normally used for purposes of advertising and market research. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) first sentence (f) GDPR. In addition, we directly receive anonymized statistics about user behaviour on the Facebook page. When such a Facebook page is accessed, Facebook regularly creates so-called user profiles that are used for interest-based advertising, among other things. For this, Facebook uses cookies which make it possible to recognize users. These cookies are stored beyond the end of the use. It is also conceivable for user profiles to be recorded and stored across multiple terminals. This is especially the case for logged-in Facebook members.

You can find further information on data processing by Facebook and the means for opting out of advertising on the following pages:

Data policy: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

Opting out of ads: www.facebook.com/settings and www.youronlinechoices.com.

Moreover, data is processed on Facebook pages on the basis of an agreement between us and Facebook on the joint processing of personal data (www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum).

You can find information about us and our data protection officer and concerning your rights in our above data policy.

We recommend that you submit requests for information and claim user rights directly with Facebook because only Facebook has access to user data and can take action and provide information. Your right to contact us directly remains unaffected.
